About DigitalPatra
Stamp paper and notarization in India still run on a system built for a pre-digital world: queue at a vendor, hope the denomination is available, sign in front of a notary, hope nobody loses the physical copy. It's slow, it's easy to fake, and there's no real way to verify a document after the fact.
Why DigitalPatra exists
DigitalPatra started from that frustration directly — not as a legal-tech idea in the abstract, but from repeatedly hitting the same broken process while trying to get simple agreements done. The fix borrows less from the “startup playbook” and more from clinical practice: get the protocol right, remove points of failure, make every step traceable and verifiable. An e-stamped, Aadhaar-eSigned agreement on DigitalPatra can be verified independently, end to end — something a physical stamp paper never really could be.
Who's behind it
DigitalPatra is built by Dr. Mohan Kamaraju, an anesthesiologist and intensivist by training. The clinical background isn't incidental — it's the same standard applied here: rigor, low tolerance for ambiguity, and a bias toward systems that can be checked rather than taken on faith.
What we're building toward
A stamping and signing process that's fast enough to not think about, and verifiable enough that nobody has to take it on trust. See a real (redacted) sample side by side with a physical stamp paper on our Sample Documents page, or read how Aadhaar eSign holds up legally.
Get your agreement stamped, signed, and sorted — verifiably.
Government e-stamp, Aadhaar eSign by both parties, done online. Draft in minutes, often done the same day.
