Tenant Identity Verification, Done For You
Every rental agreement, automatically — any hour, any day.

Many landlords are advised by their local police station to keep a record of tenant identity verification — good practice for any rental, and often expected during periodic tenant-verification drives. With DigitalPatra, this is already built in: your tenant completes Aadhaar-based OTP identity verification as part of signing the agreement — no extra steps, no separate app or visit required.
What we verify, and what you get
We confirm the tenant's identity directly against UIDAI's own Aadhaar OTP system in real time — the name and address on record are matched and pulled straight into the agreement, and a permanent, timestamped verification record is generated alongside it. You'll find this confirmation in your delivered Timeline Record: who was verified, when, and a reference you can point back to.
What we deliberately don't store
We never store your tenant's full 12-digit Aadhaar number, their Aadhaar photo, or a copy of the Aadhaar card itself — on principle, not as an oversight. The number is passed through to UIDAI's own verification system to complete the OTP check and is never retained on our side; we keep only the last 4 digits (masked), the verified name and address, and the verification timestamp and reference ID.
If your police station needs a physical copy
Some tenant-verification processes ask landlords to submit a physical or scanned copy of the tenant's ID directly. Because we don't hold that copy ourselves, you'll need to collect it directly from your tenant if your local process requires it — DigitalPatra's verification confirms the identity check was genuinely completed, it doesn't replace a physical ID copy where one is specifically asked for.
DigitalPatra is an independent private service, not a government or police platform — we simply make it easy to do the right thing, and to have a real record if you're ever asked to show one.
