Service Delivery Policy

Effective date: 12 July 2026. DigitalPatra is a fully digital service. This policy is our equivalent of a shipping policy: it explains exactly what you receive, how it reaches you, how long it takes, and what to do if anything does not arrive.

1. What Is Delivered

On completion of your order you receive: (a) your rental agreement as a PDF, executed on a government e-stamp of the applicable value and digitally signed by all parties through Aadhaar eSign; (b) the e-stamp certificate number printed on the document; and (c) simple instructions for verifying the e-stamp's authenticity on the official government verification portal. The signed PDF is the legally executed document — it does not need to be printed to be valid, though you may print copies for convenience.

2. Delivery Channels

Every completed document is delivered to the email address on your order — email delivery is mandatory and is the primary channel. A copy is also sent to your WhatsApp number for convenience. Please make sure the email address and WhatsApp number you provide at checkout are correct and accessible.

3. Timelines

Your draft agreement is prepared within minutes of placing the order. After you approve the draft, we purchase the government e-stamp and send signing links to all parties. The final signed document is typically delivered the same day, once both parties complete their Aadhaar eSign. Actual completion time depends on when each party completes signing and on the availability of government e-stamping and eSign systems, which are operated by third parties and occasionally experience downtime. If a government system delay affects your order, we will keep you informed.

4. No Physical Shipping

Nothing is physically shipped. There is no courier, no paper stamp paper in the post, and no delivery address required — the e-stamped, eSigned PDF is the complete deliverable. The service is available only within India, for rental agreements governed by the laws of Karnataka. Parties may sign from anywhere, but the property and the agreement must fall under Karnataka jurisdiction.

5. If You Have Not Received Your Document

First, check your email spam/junk folder and search for "digitalpatra". If the document is not there, contact us at support@digitalpatra.in or on WhatsApp at +91 86609 24600 with your order ID and we will re-send it immediately. We also monitor every order on our side: if anything is stuck due to an issue at our end, we will proactively email you within 24 hours with the status and expected resolution — you should never have to chase us to find out where your document is.

6. Free Re-Delivery

Your executed documents are stored securely and can be re-sent to you at any time, free of charge. If you lose the PDF, change devices, or need it sent to a different email address or WhatsApp number, just message us with your order ID and we will re-deliver it.
